Born September 5th in Torrance, California, Brittney Lankford; better known as Brittney Jaii is pursuing the passion she found for singing at the early age of 7. She is coincidentally ten years and one day apart from one of her biggest musical influences, Beyoncé, and like her musical influence, she has been in several different signing groups during her early years of singing. Now, taking her passion personally to express herself as a solo artist, Brittney Jaii hopes to influence and inspire people through her music. One of her first experiences performing as a solo act came during a talent show at Dorsey High School in South Central Los Angeles where she was raised. Since then, she has been heard on the hooks and backgrounds of a couple respected LA Artists, such as Joe Moses, Ty Dolla $ign and more. After working on others music for years, Brittney Jaii was able to team up with Super Producer D. Bottz and is finally releasing her Debut EP "Clear The Air" March 26, 2021. Her recording process is quite intricate as she draws from inspiration through life experiences and expresses that passion in every take. According to Brittney, singing is a way for her to escape the limits of reality and express herself beyond judgment. Brittney Jaii has a blend of R&B and Hip-Hop that is prevalent in her music. Jaii refers to herself as the modern day Mary J.Blige.
